Future Worlds II

Over the past decade, we’ve seen significant changes in society as a result of powerful forces. We’ve seen a dramatic rise in innovations in health and medicine through the use of machine learning and AI. Urban and rural communities globally have faced massive devastation due to more frequent natural disasters. Countries around the world are seeing paradigm shifts in political ideology and the polarization of politics as social media becomes a substitute for news. With new technologies, tools, and services at our fingertip, we feel equipped to deal with many daily challenges, yet simultaneously not prepared for the unexpected impact of these capabilities.
